The History of Diamond Way Buddhism in Poland

The movie is going to tell the history of our lineage in Poland. The first centre of our school was established in Krakow…

…in 1970s. It was also the first centre of the Tibetan Buddhism in the communist part of Europe. The title of the movie is inspired by this very important historical event. The movie will attempt to answer the question what made so many Poles practice this path of Buddhism and why Buddhism is so attractive for people from the West.

It will be based on the interviews with people who created the first centres in 1970s and 1980s and who are presently Buddhist teachers travelling with their lectures across the globe.

The movie premiere is planned for autumn 2012.
